About

CPH_6783-2.jpg

I started my branding career client-side at NSPCC in the heydays of the Full Stop campaign. Before moving around the corner (literally) to transform Shelter.

After 12-years of agency life, and Director-level roles at The Team and Good Agency, I decided to be master of my own destiny by launching my own brand consultancy: BrandDufour.

This enables me to pick and choose who I collaborate with creatively to get the best results for your brief and budget. It also coincided with a big move from the city to the coast, to realise my dream of living by the sea in Cornwall. Win, win.

What do I do?

Who have I worked with?

I craft brand strategies and stories, then bring them to life by collaborating with a community of talented creatives and agencies.

I deliver pet projects for purposeful brands and causes I care about.

I help brand and design agencies deliver successful projects and grow their businesses.

During my specialism in Brand Purpose I have worked across all sectors including Rightmove, London 2012 and Cancer Research UK.

But I’m best known for my award-winning work across all corners of the charity sector from Shelter and Parkinson’s UK to Scope and RNID.

I founded CharityComms Brand Breakfasts and am an author of their best practice guides to branding and integrated communications, Brand 360 and One Voice

I am a Mentor for the world’s first Master’s in brand leadership and a guest lecturer for a Master’s in marketing communications.

After working together on brand strategy projects I’d enthusiastically recommend Dan. His knowledge of third sector branding is encyclopaedic and adds tremendous value, from acting as a friendly sounding board to his pragmatic and determined project oversight. He’s particularly good at engaging senior stakeholders”.
